The Leadbetter Christmas Bird Count will be held on Saturday, December 20th, rain or shine.  Or wind or hail.  Hopefully good weather since it was pretty bad last year!  The count circle is centered in Willapa Bay 2 miles E-NE from Oysterville and includes most of the Long Beach peninsula north of about the middle of Loomis Lake, and also the east side of the bay from Bay Center south to around the middle fork of the Nemah River.  The count has been held (almost) continuously since 1978.  If you would like to know more about the Leadbetter CBC contact This email address is being protected from spambots.
