Come enjoy a pleasant social gathering at which we will install our new board officers and learn more about owls and their hunting strategies.  Our presenter will be Carlo Abbruzzese, an ornithologist and Natural Areas Manager for Washington Dept. of Natural Resources.  Many of us already know him from his leadership of local birding classes and field trips.  His dissertation was on owls and he has continued to enjoy finding out more about them during his work here in Southwest Washington.

This year the WHAS Annual Dinner will be catered by a local women’s service group, Amalak.  The menu will include beverages, salad, vegetable, and dessert, with a choice of either a chicken or vegetarian entrée.
